Chosen Abilities Resource Center, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. It was founded in May 2005 by Devona Walker as a Non-Profit Outreach Organization.Through the outreach services we provide social services, feeding of the poor, comprehensive training, self-development, computer training and employment services that are exclusively intended to serve a target population of economically disadvantaged families. We desire to respond to the food shortage and gap in the service delivery system for children and their families.

Many people who come to Chosen Abilities Resource Center think that finding, keeping and advancing in a career is nearly impossible.

They may have had limited schooling, a lack of work experience, a criminal record, or a history of substance abuse.

They may have just lost their jobs. Some have a disability or medical condition.

All of them find that programs available through Chosen Abilities Resource Center gives them a chance to make their career dreams possible.

Our purpose is to provide educational and faith-based training programs to the poor and economically disadvantaged families residing in low-income housing communities.
